All of my wallbeds use hardware from Create-a-Bed. The gas-lift system is simple and effective, with no springs, and no custom mattresses or bedding is needed. You use a standard mattress, in twin, full, or queen size.
Do-it-yourself! If you want to build your own wallbed, but feel that you lack the tools or the skills, I can help. I will gather the materials, do all the cutting, edgebanding and drilling, install the hardware, do a few sub-assemblies: in short, all the “hard” parts. Then, you can do the assembly and installation yourself, gaining the satisfaction of a job well done, and saving money, as well. (And nobody has to know!)
