This unit, in a private home in Baltimore, presented a number of unique difficulties in the waist and crown sections. I used precurved plywood channels, and vacuum-veneered the oak surface. I milled the bullnose molding from solid oak, and applied it to the half round channels. I then carefully mitered the channel sections to form the complete assemblies.
